My grandparents purchased their Menlo Park home in the 1950s. In 1996, my husband and I purchased our home in Menlo Park. I’ve been honored to serve on City Council since 2010 and as mayor in 2012. I have had my own law practice in San Mateo County for over twenty years. I also have volunteered with community organizations throughout San Mateo County for over twenty years. I currently serve on the boards of BAWSCA, the Service League, and the advisory board of CORA: Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse. I was elected President for two consecutive years by fellow Commissioners while serving on the San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women, where I served for eight years. In Menlo Park, I have served on the Community Mediation Services Committee, Housing Commission and Planning Commission. I was elected to Menlo Park City Council in 2010.
